They were like $130 usd on aliexpress. I prefer the old drive the new one has too many interfaces which all do the same thing and the games are repeated. I love modding the drive and adding things to it.

@@astrotrain74 Yes, there are 30 games. Shooters and Fighters from a quick glace, I have never checked out this collection. Looks like some awesome games.

@@Mysteriozone If you do want to start playing the Touhou games, I suggest you start with Touhou 6. I have to warn you though, these games are stupidly difficult. The genre of these games are mainly bullet-hells, and I do have to say. The music in this game is amazing.

@ yes a different rom file type but it’s done the same. Add the logo art, snap video, rom and then add the name in the Wii U romlist.

@@Mysteriozoneok, I did everything, used decrypted raw files as I see that is what kinhank had for the already existing wii u games in there. But I'm getting a red color in rocketlauncher ui. Any idea? I rechecked my edit of the Roms list and everything looks good there. All the files were named the same. Followed the guide to a T except for using the raw decrypted files instead of WBFS obviously. Just as an FYI, it’s Xenoblade Chronicles X I’m trying to add. Edit: I figured it out. When you go into the ROM’s folder after the folders with all the ROMs at the bottom are text files for each game, I had to manually create that same text file and just copied what was in a different games text file and just changed it accordingly and then it was found. @ you can add the other format I think it’s wua, just add the extension the the Wii U cfg under the emulators folder. I replaced all the games I had with this format.

I have a small hub and multi man detects all the drives at once and places all the games together in the menu. I am using 4 external 2tb drives.

@@Mysteriozone Are you using 3.5 inch HDDs? I tried plugging in 2 hard drives in the main usb hub of the unit the second one detects it but dosnt launch the game from the second hard drive.

@@sfkid9445Yes they are all 3.5 external hard drives. Each of them have their own power supply. That might be the issue, I believe they all have to be powered.

@@Mysteriozone mine are 2.5 drives maybe i just need a usb hub and plug it in to usb port 1?

@@sfkid9445 Give that a shot, if not try powered harddrives see if that works. All mine are 3.5 with each being plugged into a surge protector for power.

I have the old drive, like having everything in hyperspin and not all the other interfaces and having to look for things. In the older one everything is done in the d:\arcade\attract.cfg. You can open that file in notepad and look around how things are configured. It’s not to hard. Games are added in the romlist. Look at the romlist folder and find the system you want to add the games too. Then add the game in the collection folder under the system you want. You can also add the logo and snap video under the collections folder too. If you need anything just let me know.

Amazon, they have a new one but I like the old one with Hyperspin attraction alone. The new one has several interfaces to get to the games. The old one has one interface with everything and it’s easy to add things to it.

If you plug this in, no because you would be plugging in a 12tb already so no additional storage is needed. You might need to install minor drivers locally on your c drive but that is very small and takes up very little space.

The transferring from the sata to ssd drive is simple. If you are merging two game drives just make sure no file are overwritten and you should be good. The SSD will make a minor boost to the PC games but the rest of the retro games.

The system comes preconfigured for a x-input controller, any xbox controller should work fine. I am not sure about 8bitdo. If you want to use that controller, you will need to map it to all the emulators. SO for Gamecube/Wii, locate Dolphin emulator on the drive and map this controller. You will have to do the same for all other emulators.

@@Mysteriozone Thanks for the help. It works a lot better with a Xbox controller. For the Xbox 360 games to work I have to set the emulator to Xenia instead of Xenia-Canary. I saw video's on RUclips that said that in order for Xbox 360 games to work you have to set it to Xenia-Canary. For the Wii game super Mario galaxy it says that the connection with the Wii remote controller is disconnected. Does this mean that I have to set the controls on the Xbox 360 controller in the Dolphin emulator? Or do I have to change something in retrobat menu ? Also is it best to update all the emulators and modules to make everything work better? Thanks, Greetings

@@iTube481 Xenia-Canary is best as it is updated often so more games are compatible. For the Wii, just go into Dolphin and set the controller to the 360 or get a Wii Mayflash bar and Wiimote. If you do update the emulators make sure you keep a backup of the original files just in case. Some newer emulators will also require updated modules too. I updated Dolphin and had to update the module for it too.
